Two women, two visions, one caravan and a pot of tea.

Tea for Two is a short parable about neighbours who love to have tea. The only thing they enjoy more than tea is silently hating each other. This is a glance into the inner dialogue of conflicts where disturbing details get out of proportion. The object theatre production playfully balances on the borderlines of irony and visual poetry, and gives the viewer a chance to observe absurd situations from a safe distance. 

TeatteriQO is a Franco-Finnish puppetry company that combines poetry and politics on stage. Encounters, collaboration and poetic freedom are the cornerstones of the group’s work. Through unexpected associations and visual collages, surprises, humour, tragedy and a sharp sense of detail, the company brings out a shifted perception of the everyday. The performances resonate in the audience, planting seeds for thoughts that bring up bursts of laughter even days later.
