The topicality of the relationship topic extends beyond national borders, which is why the creative team wants to tell this humorous and talented story to Estonian viewers as well. The director of the performance is Imants Strads, one of the leading actors of the Latvian Art Theater (Dailes teātris), and the author, production and costume designer is actor Ivo Martinsons. The cast is complemented by other esteemed Latvian creative figures, and some of them feature excellent Estonian actors. Both theatre professionals and viewers benefit from such an exchange of international cultural processes in the Baltic States. This always sold-out situation comedy has been performed in Latvia for several seasons. “The Walk-Through Bedroom” has received positive reviews from audiences throughout Latvia. “The Walk-Through Bedroom” is based on the connection between lies, how one lie creates the next. Humor alternates with dramatic episodes that will not leave the viewer indifferent. The director has managed to create a unique story, the action of which takes place almost simultaneously in two bedrooms in adjacent apartments. The comedy forces the viewer to answer the questions – how honest we are with each other and is the search for piquant life adventures really worth the candle?
